Subscription for leasehold at Aalsmeer-Oost opened
April 8, 2023

At Aalsmeer-Oost, Royal FloraHolland offers floriculture companies both the option for leasehold and, at a later stage, for rent. Mayor Gido Oude Kotte: "Everything in Aalsmeer breathes flowers and plants. We therefore welcome the expansion. The development of Aalsmeer-Oost is taking place in close cooperation with the municipality and in good consultation with the surrounding area."
Cooperation with Royal FloraHolland in the area of logistics services, among others, is an advantage in both issuing the land on a leasehold and renting it out. David van Mechelen, CFO Royal FloraHolland: "With growers or buyers who want to establish themselves in Aalsmeer-Oost, we will discuss in advance how we can strengthen the floriculture cluster through cooperation. The new building offers numerous opportunities for this. We also reserve space ourselves to provide existing and future services."
The site at Aalsmeer-Oost is ready for construction and the ring road, the Sierteeltstraat, has already been completed. Work is currently still underway on the construction of the Undisturbed Logistics Connection (OLV) towards the N201 and a good connection to Schiphol Airport and the A4 and A9 freeways. Companies establishing themselves at Aalsmeer-Oost are directly connected to the product street that forms the link with Aalsmeer-Centrum. The new building lends itself perfectly to redesigning and optimizing logistics processes. Moreover, the buildings can be given their own look with their own identity, such as with a specific entrance and the company name on the facade. This can already be seen at the first built-up plot already occupied by Marginpar. The five plots now coming on the market are directly connected to this plot at the visibility location along the N201.
