Update on sustainability regulations
April 1, 2025

Today, as announced a few weeks ago, the updated sustainability regulations have been published on the Royal FloraHolland website as part of Royal FloraHolland's auction regulations. These regulations apply to all members, guest members and non-member suppliers of our platform.
This update to the certification is the result of additional discussions, questions and feedback from members and growers on specific topics. RFH wants these regulations to provide clarity to all the lots that trade via the RFH platform regarding the guidelines and agreements concerning certification. This will make us stronger as a cooperative, also in the area of sustainability. This is an important theme for our sector and for society.

The update focuses on the following topics:
- Enforcement and compliance
- The stop-the-farming scheme (a dispensation intended for growers who want to stop farming within two years of the certification date applicable to them)
- Conditions for new members and suppliers
- Regulations for non-farming suppliers
