Member sessions April: good atmosphere and room for dialogue

Over the past few weeks, we again spoke to many of our members at the various membership sessions around the country. As many as 342 members attended the physical or online sessions. An online session was also held in Germany and online sessions are still scheduled in Africa on 8 and 9 May next.
The atmosphere at the sessions was good. A lot of information was shared from the executives and MT members present. But there was also a lot of room for dialogue. We talked to each other about our concerns and the opportunities we see. Important to share concerns with each other. But also good to see that together we see so many opportunities for Royal FloraHolland and our beautiful sector. We saw great differences in the topics at play in sessions in different regions. This once again confirms that we have a lot of different members within our cooperative. Something we are proud of, and should also take into account. Because the strength of our cooperative lies precisely in the fact that we unite together, with all members (large and small, flowers and plants).
Not only between members, the company was present for a presentation and dialogue with members. During some sessions, we heard many questions about certification. At other locations, this topic did not raise any questions at all. There were also questions about Royal FloraHolland's (financial) results and about Floriway. A detailed report of the questions and signals we collected as a Members' Council will follow at a later date. We expect to share this integrated report with you at the end of May. In it you can clearly see what the overall picture is across all sessions.
For now, the Council of Members would like to thank you all very much for attending and for the good questions and signals that were asked and given during this session. Valuable information for the Council of Members to be able to have the right discussion with the management and the Supervisory Board in the coming period.
