I missed the CC ‘relabelling campaign’; what should I do now?
Still haven't had the opportunity to participate and still want to be eligible to collect and/or return CC TAG6 tags? If so, please contact our Customer Contact Centre.
When will the 'relabelling campaign’ start in the Royal FloraHolland CC depots? (procedure in outline)
Container Centralen has indicated that from Monday 6 January 2025, the new CC TAG6 must be used.. Therefor the 'relabelling campaign' will begin over the weekend of 4 and 5 January 2025 and will proceed broadly as follows:
• Until Friday 3 January 2025:
- CC containers with the TAG5 label can still be returned or collected throughout the day during regular opening hours at our CC depots.
- At midnight, we will determine the administrative balances. This balance will equal the number of CC TAG6 labels you need to return or collect.
- We will not accept CC containers with the new CC TAG6 label in our CC depots up to and including Friday 3 January.
• On Saturday 4 (all day) and Sunday 5 January (until 19:00) 2025:
- There will be no facility in our CC depots to physically return or collect CC containers and/or plates. Transfers will remain possible as usual.
- On Saturday 4 January 2025, our CC depots will be open during regular opening hours solely for the collection or return of CC labels.
- Collection and return of TAG6 labels will be conducted upon the presentation of a valid ID and/or authorisation.
• From 19:00 on Sunday 5 January 2025:
- Collection and return at our CC depots during regular opening hours will be for CC containers with CC TAG6 label only, in combination with the CC metal plate.
• Supply Auction and Direct Trade:
- Auction deliveries on 3, 4 and 5 January 2025, for auction day Monday 6 January 2025 and the supplies thereafter, must be on CC containers with the new TAG6 label.
- All Direct Trade supply on 3, 4 and 5 January, with transaction date Monday 6 January 2025 and the supplies thereafter, must also be on CC container with the new TAG6 label.
• You can return or collect labels until Saturday 15 February 2025. We have extended the submission and collection deadline for TAG6 labels once by three weeks. Please note: this means that the deadline for submitting and collecting TAG6 labels is Sunday, March 9, 2025!
• On 10 March, we will reset the label balances to zero. Read the procedure for unsubmitted TAG6 labels or the procedure for not collected TAG6 labels what this means to you.
I have both a contract with Container Centralen and a credit or rental balance with Royal FloraHolland; what should I do?
What is the procedure for ‘credit’ at Royal FloraHolland (i.e. you have CC containers in storage with us)?
A: If you have a credit with Royal FloraHolland, you have two options:
- Physically collect your CC container credit: This can be done until Friday 3 January 2025, during the regular opening hours of our CC depots. You may then replace the label yourself.
- Return the required number of TAG6 labels: you can return TAG6 labels at Royal FloraHolland CC depots from Saturday 4 January until 9 March 2025 during regular opening hours. Royal FloraHolland charges a fee for the relabelling service. We will announce the fee amount in advance.
Important: You can only collect that part of your credit for which you have handed in new CC TAG6 labels!
For both choices:
- Don't forget your identification and/or authorisation!
- From 19:00 on Sunday 5 January, you can collect CC containers from our CC depots during regular opening hours.
Please note: You have a credit with us if you have a negative balance in the Logistic Supplies online service.
What is the procedure for unsubmitted TAG6 labels?
If you have not submitted any or insufficient TAG6 labels during the regular opening hours of our CC depots until Sunday 9 March 2025, your outstanding CC container credit will be forfeited. This outstanding credit equals the number of TAG6 labels you still have to submit to Royal FloraHolland. On 10 March 2025, we will deduct this label balance from your current ongoing CC balance, making the label balance equal to zero and allowing you to physically collect CC containers from us again. Is your ongoing balance insufficient? Then you pay rental fees.
> View rental rates for CC containersWhat is the procedure for ‘renting’ at Royal FloraHolland (i.e. you rent CC containers from Royal FloraHolland)?
If you are ‘renting’ at Royal FloraHolland, you have two options:
- You can physically return all or part of your rented CC containers. This can be done until Friday 3 January 2025 during regular opening hours at our CC depots. Returning CC containers in this way will reduce your rental balance.
- You can collect the corresponding number of CC TAG6 labels equivalent to your rental balance in one of our CC depots from Saturday 4 January until 9 March 2025 during regular opening hours. You can then attach these labels to the CC containers yourself and use them from the transaction date of 6 January 2025.
- From November, visual instructions for attaching the new CC TAG6 labels will be available on the Container Centralen website.
- Container Centralen has indicated that the TAG5 label must be removed from the CC container. Removing the old black and red CC tags is optional.
For both choices:
- Don't forget your identification and/or authorisation certificate!
- From 19:00 on Sunday 5 January, you can collect/drop off CC containers at our CC depots during regular opening hours.
Please note: You are ‘renting’ with us if you have a positive balance in the Logistic Supplies online service.
What is the procedure for not collected TAG6 labels?
If you have not collected TAG6 tags from our CC depot during our regular opening hours until Sunday 9 March 2025, they will revert to Royal FloraHolland. On 10 March 2025, we will reset your TAG6 label credit in our records to zero and withdrawal of new labels from CC depots will no longer be possible.
Why does Royal FloraHolland determine my balance at 24:00 on Friday 3 January 2025?
Container Centralen has indicated that, from Monday 6 January 2025, the new CC TAG6 will be in use. Therefore, Royal FloraHolland will determine your CC container balance at 24:00 on Friday 3 January. This balance serves as the starting point for the exchange process.
The administrative balance will equal:
- The credit you have built up (CCs in storage at Royal FloraHolland), which represents the number of CC TAG6 labels you need to return at one of the Royal FloraHolland CC depots.
- Or, the number of CCs you have rented, indicating the number of CC TAG6 labels you will need to collect from one of the Royal FloraHolland CC depots.
What is the rate for getting Royal FloraHolland to relabel?
If you have CC containers in a Royal FloraHolland CC depot at midnight on the evening of Friday 3 January, we will relabel those CC containers for you. For this, we will charge a handling fee of €0.35 per TAG6 label. We will remove the old TAG5 label for you. This fee is equal to the amount that Container Centralen pays its contractors for performing that task. Invoicing will then take place at the end of March 2025.
How many CC containers do I have in the depot at Royal FloraHolland or how many am I renting from Royal FloraHolland?

How do I subscribe to the Logistic Supplies Online service?
I requested a correction to the CC container balance after 5 January 2025 on a transaction dated on or before 3 January 2025; how will that affect the number of labels I will have to return or collect?
If we make a correction to your CC container balance at Royal FloraHolland after 5 January 2025 on a transaction dated 3 January or earlier, this will result in an adjustment to the number of TAG6 labels that you will have to return or collect.
To avoid this, we ask all our customers to update their CC records as much as possible by 3 January 2025 at the latest. You will be able to view the total number of labels you will have to hand in or collect after this correction by looking at your account balance at midnight on 3 January in Logistic Supplies Online. How will the Auction and Direct Trade supplies be handled for Monday 6 January 2025?
- Auction deliveries on 3, 4 and 5 January 2025, for auction day Monday 6 January 2025 must be on CC containers with the new TAG6 label.
- Direct Trade supply: all Direct Trade transactions on 3, 4 and 5 January, with transaction date Monday 6 January 2025 must be on CC containers with the new TAG6 label.
I have a contract with Container Centralen; what should I do?
If you have a contract with Container Centralen, you will receive specific information regarding this labelling campaign directly from them. You will also receive the number of new CC labels via Container Centralen equal to the amount in your contract.
For more information on the ‘relabelling campaign’, please visit the website of Container Centralen.
I have a shortage of new CC labels.
You will receive the number of CC TAG6 labels from Container Centralen that is equal to the amount in your contract with them. If your credit with Royal FloraHolland exceeds your contract with Container Centralen, you have two options: either increase your contract with Container Centralen or collect your credit from us before the closure of our CC depots on 3 January 2025. Please note that we will not provide any additional labels.
Please note: We have no access to your contract information with Container Centralen. What does the new label look like?
Why is Container Centralen introducing a new label?
What are the benefits of the new CC TAG6 label according to Container Centralen?
- Robust design: smaller in size and better quality due to the use of stronger material compared to the CC TAG5.
- Easier to identify misuse: if the label is deliberately removed from a CC container and attached to another, this is clearly visible.
- App-based authentication: advanced functionalities have been added to make it easier to verify the authenticity of original CC TAG6 labels. In addition to checking with an RFID scanner, authenticity can also be verified by scanning with a mobile phone app.
Can I start attaching new labels earlier?
This depends on your situation:
- You can start attaching the new CC TAG6 labels as soon as you receive them from Container Centralen (this only applies if you have a contract with Container Centralen). Please note: You may only use CC containers with the new label for transactions dated Monday 6 January 2025, or later.
- Are you ‘renting’ Royal FloraHolland for CC containers? If so, please refer to What is the procedure for ‘renting’?
- Do you have CC containers stored in a Royal FloraHolland depot? Then read What is the procedure for ‘credit’?
Why is the 'relabelling campaign’ taking place on the weekend of 4 and 5 January 2025 and why was a different weekend not chosen?
The 'relabelling campaign’ is taking place on the initiative of the pool owner Container Centralen Nederland. Royal FloraHolland is simply following their choice of date.
